Terms of sale

1. Subject
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between:
Couteaux Bodéré, hereinafter referred to as "the Seller",
and any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the www.bodere.shop website, hereinafter referred to as "the Customer".

2. Products
The knives offered are handcrafted creations. As each piece is unique, there may be slight differences between the product shown in the photo and the product delivered.
The Customer is informed that certain knives may be subject to specific legislation concerning their carrying or possession.

⚠️ Customer responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to check the legislation in force in their country or region concerning the purchase, possession and transport of knives. The Vendor cannot be held responsible for any improper or illegal use.

3. Order
Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.
The Vendor reserves the right to cancel any order from a Customer with whom there is a previous dispute.

4. Prices
Prices are quoted in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes.
The Vendor reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but products are invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time the order is validated.

5. Payment
Payment is made when the order is placed, by credit card, bank transfer, or any other means of payment offered on the site.
The order will only be processed once payment has been received.

6. Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the Customer at the time of ordering.
Delivery times are given as an indication only. In the event of delay, no compensation may be claimed.
In the event of loss of the parcel by the carrier, an investigation will be opened before any reimbursement or replacement.

7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify their decision.
The product must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
⚠️ Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to products personalized at the customer's request (engravings, custom-made products).

8. Warranties
Products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity (articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
All claims must be made by e-mail to william@bodere.shop within 14 days of receipt.

9. Liability
The Seller shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the product, nor for the consequences of unauthorized or dangerous use (illegal wearing, offensive use, etc.).

10. Intellectual property
All elements of the site (texts, photos, logos, products) are protected by copyright. Any reproduction is forbidden without prior authorization.

11. Personal data
The information collected is used to process orders and manage customer relations.
In accordance with the "Informatique et Libertés" law and the RGPD, customers have the right to access, rectify and delete their data at any time via info@bodere.shop.

12. Applicable law
These GCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the Seller's registered office.
